I joined the media team at Gateshead FC during the summer of 2022. The role primarily involved using the club's camera, or a kit provided by TNT Sports, to film the full 90 minutes of each home match. The footage was used for the club's highlights, as well as internal analysis and, later, TNT Sports' National League Highlights Show and National League TV. At times I stepped in to write match reports, as well as manage the social media output for the club.

PRE-SEASON | Middlesbrough FC friendly confirmed

Gateshead will host Middlesbrough FC as part of the team’s preparations for the 2024/25 season.

The match will take place at Gateshead International Stadium on Wednesday, July 24th for a 7:30pm kick-off.

It is the team’s second confirmed pre-season friendly, after the match against Sunderland AFC on Saturday, July 13th (5pm kick-off) was announced.

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults, and £10 for those aged 17 and under (booking fees apply).

Gateshead FC and Black Storm Beer have teamed up to create an England fanzone at Gateshead International Stadium during Euro 2024.

Supporters can enjoy England vs Serbia on Sunday, June 16th with a full-on stadium experience – tickets are on sale now!

Gates will open for the event at 6:30pm, through turnstiles 3 and 4 in the Tyne & Wear Stand, ahead of kick-off at 8pm.

The admission fee (£5 for adults, and £2 for those aged 17 and under) includes a pint for adults and a soft drink for kids.

Gateshead Football Club can now announce its list of retained and released players, following the conclusion of the highly-successful 2023/24 campaign.

Gateshead FC’s Junior Academy will be holding invite-only open sessions ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The Junior Academy, in partnership with Gateshead College, is made up of a mixture of age groups between under 12s and under 18s.

The structure of the Junior Academy for next season is as follows:

Our favourite moments from the historic 2023/24 season

The past 10 months have been a rollercoaster for Gateshead FC, and now the dust has settled, it is the perfect time to look back and reflect on all the team’s achievements this campaign.
